A private self-entrance to a 3b/1ba- (2)Queen beds and (1) Double; Fully furnished kitchen; Full-size W/D and a private courtyard with outdoor lighting and seating. The historical Treme neighborhood is full of colorful cottages. Treme is known for its jazz clubs, soul food spots, and cultural centers celebrating the neighborhood's African-American and Creole heritage. The neighborhood is mostly residential and is safe to walk at night.
We are a couple of blocks from Congo Square in Louis Armstrong Park and one block from a few local historic museums. There are two coffee shops nearby, one across the street and the other a block away. A few convenience stores, the closest just one block away. We are only 4 blocks to the French Quarter, and another 3 blocks to Bourbon Street. During Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday), we are two blocks from the parade route.
Guests can easily walk (under 20 minutes) to the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Canal Street, French Market, Jackson Square, and Café du Monde.
We are just blocks from the newest streetcar line on Rampart
Avenue which connects to the Canal Street line, and one of the Hop-On Hop-Off bus pickup locations is on Rampart Ave. The City Buses travel on Rampart as well.
Just a bit longer walk (20-30 minutes) or an Uber/Lyft, streetcar or taxi ride can get you to the Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods, City Park, Audubon Park or streetcar line to the Garden District, World War II Museum, Magazine Street, Audubon Aquarium, Riverboat Cruise Lines, Mardi Gras World, Harrah's Casino, Convention Center, Superdome, Sanger Theatre, Smoothie King Center, Warehouse/Arts District and more!
